Marginalia

Marginalia Science is a community whose goal is to promote and learn about the work of social scientists who are not promoted by the status quo in academia.

The group was started by Ana Gantman, Hannah Nam, Laura Niemi and me. A couple of years back, we’ve passed on the torch and the group is now run by Eliana Hadjiandreou, Ivy Gilbert, Jordan Wylie, and Minjae Kim.

We mainly send out a monthly newsletter. Each month, we try to highlight the work of our community, share opportunities & articles we find interested, and profile new members through guest editorships.

You can sign up for the newsletter on substack & you can learn more about us at marginaliascience.com.

Check us out on the Stanford Psychology Podcast. You can also read about us in the SPSP Member Newsletter & an article we wrote about why marginalized topics and perspectives are key to advancing science in Nature Human Behaviour.
